What is the Model of the original hard drive in the Model 5012 Desk top computerr?
This actually could vary quite a bit. Most computer manufacturer's will not place a specific model of hard drive into a computer now days, so long as it meets the same standards as the one they originally stock it with.
Your best bet, would be to open the side panel, by removing the small thumbscrews in the back (if they're not thumbscrews, then they're phillips head more than likely) then power down the computer, and disconnect the media cable , and power cable from the hard drive, then look on top of the har drive itself.
IF the hard drive is missing, then only someone that of which has owned one could tell you one of the varying parts that are contained within it.
Even xbox 360's for example, do not use the same brand, or model dvd drive, only the same speed, and connection type.
