Need a metric nut for Infinity Stroller

I lost the nut on the front wheel of the Hauk Infiniti stroller, causing the wheel to continuously fall off. The nut is a metric size, anywhere to get one to fit the stroller wheel?

The size is M12 fine thread. I had to go to a local hardware store to find one because it isn't a standard wider thread.

Did you go to B&Q and find a replacement? If so, what was the size that was needed? Our pushchair is an Infinity and we are having the same problem.

Front wheel feel off while running and the nut was lost. Need replacement washer/nut for front wheel

  • Rather than order one from the manufacturer I recommend you take the stroller to your neighborhood hardware store and they have assortments or nuts, bolts, washers, etc you can try. It would not take long to find the right fit washer and nut and it would cost you about 25 cents.

Regards, Tony

I have an Evenflo stroller and the back two wheels (7" ones) are worn out. Is there somewhere I can get replacement parts?

I have an Evenflo Journey Elite Stroller that is missing a front wheel. It popped off while placing the stroller in the car and was lost. Unfortunately, Evenflo has limited replacement parts and the front wheel is not available. So, I'm selling parts off my stroller to those in a similar situation...I have no need for a stroller with just 3 wheels and it's in perfect condition otherwise. The wheels seem to be the biggest issue for buyers of this stroller. Let me know if you still need wheels. I will sell you mine if they fit for you. E-mail me at pow_@msn.com thanks, Jennifer

Nee Replacement Nut

Can you possibly take a picture of another nut on the carriage that matches the one you lost?  If so I can probably guide you better.

I don't know where you live but try taking the stroller into a hardware store that has a large selection of both Metric and English hardware.  Threads sizes  are all standardized and so are the nuts.  But there are just different styles to pick from.  You might be able to find the right thread size but he nut won't quite look like the original.  And the question is does it matter?  Look for a self locking nut also. One that has a "nylon" insert often called "Ny-loks".  Keeps the nut from coming off.  Get the right size you might want to replace all of them.

Stroller pulls to the right.

The following is from the instruction manual for the Expedition LX. It should be very similar to the Expedition LE.

"Stroller pulls to one side:1. The stroller is sensitive to the air pressure in the tires. If the rear tires do not have equal pressure, the stroller will feel like it is pulling to the side with the tire with the lower tire pressure. Check that the rear tires have the same pressure. Add air pressure to a maximum of 25 pounds using a bicycle style hand air pump.2. The alignment of the front wheel of the stroller can also cause the stroller to pull to one side. The stroller is designed so that the front wheel can be adjusted to correct for any alignment problem. Page 3 of the instructions
shows an expanded view of the front fork assembly. To align the front wheel, first loosen the wheel via the quick release handle as in step 2 of the instructions. Grab the front wheel directly in front of the stroller and push the wheel in the opposite direction of the pulling problem. You will notice that the axle will move within the slot on the fork. Move the wheel to the side a small amount. Retighten the quick release handle. Give the empty stroller a push across an empty smooth surface (let go of the handle) and note if the stroller now runs straight. Re-adjust the axle a small amount at a time until the stroller runs straight. Please note that a very minute
movement of the axle will affect the tracking of the stroller. Once you have aligned the front wheel, you can mark the holding plate position with a marking pen if you detach the front wheel on a regular basis. Please note that the hole in the fork is designed to allow the stroller to be adjusted to pull to the right, go straight, or pull to the left. If you continue to have difficulty with tracking, please call our customer service department at (800) 328-7363 for assistance."
