Hello Anne,
If you are using Internet Explorer, all versions up to 10. You would locate the address bar at the top of the page. Here is a link for Google: https://www.google.com/
With Google on the desktop. Locate the Tools button near the address bar. Click the tools button and select the internet options offering. A new window will open and you will see the Google address in a window1/4 from the top. Locate and click the "USE CURRENT" button and then locate and click the "APPLY" and then the "OK" buttons. This will work for Microsoft IE. For Firefox it is a little different. The Menu bar is above the address bar. Locate the Tools button above the address bar. Click the tools button then select the options button. A new window will open now select the General tab if not already done. you will see the Google address in a window1/4 from the top. Locate and click the "USE CURRENT PAGE" button and then locate and click the "OK" button.
We hope that help you. If there are further problems please post them here and we will assist you.
Thanks

If you are using windows xp... use the "e explorer" (internet explorer) as your browser On the address bar type 192.168.1.1 There you can access the configuration of your router.
plug in via ethernet, open web browser type http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.1.0 or http://192.168.0.1 into address bar reconfigure code if none of these addresses work type the model number into google to get gateway address and type that into address bar while connected through ethernet
