Normally there are steps to trouble shoot the problem. If you did not find anything useful such as the following suggestions to trouble shoot the problem then please visit the manufacturers information below, based upon the product information you have posted on here.

Let us know how things work out. Also, sorry to see no one has gotten back to you sooner!

Trouble shoot:
Take out batteries for a full minute then insert back in, try to restart. some times that resets it otherwise press the rest button on the device.

Check with the manufacturer for a possible firmware upgrade that might need to be installed in order to get this working or to see if this is a defective unit.

My coby mp3 player wont let put music on it!

Go to the coby site and download the coby media manager the one on the player is corrupt (http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=fix_mp822). Once you get that installed on you PC go to Device and expand the device (should have a drive letter with a plus sign click on the plus sign) and you will see that your music is actually in a folder titled "music". Move it all to the folder titled "audio", don't ask I don't get it. You should now be able to use the touch screen and click on the music icon and see all your music.

My new Coby MP3 player wont play my music.

I work for Coby technical support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.

Your music may be in the wrong format or it may have DRM protection which is a license created by the recording industry. If you call our tech support number above, we can walk you through discovering why the music won't play.

Coby players can recognize .mp3 and .wma audio formats. If you're pulling the music from iTunes, it's in the wrong format and will not play on a Coby without being converted.

If you feel this solution doesn't deserve a good rating, please let me know why so that I may better assist you. If there is anything more I can do to help, I will!

It wont do it

If your mp3 player came with a cd be sure you installed whatever was on it onto your computer it may have had drivers for your mp3 player to run properly. Read the instructions you got with to see if you can figure anything out. Make sure you have the latest update of windows media player. If this doesnt work check to make sure that the battery is charged or if you look in the manual that came with it see if you can find a support number.
