Try updating software to 2.20 version. That worked for me.

Font size for reading messages in inbox is small. i want to increase its font size...

If your Defy is running one of the leaked Gingerbread (Android 2.3) ROMs, go to 'Menu > Settings > Display'. There, you'll find a 'Font size' dropdown menu. Select the size which suits you better.
Otherwise, I can think of two approaches to try to workaround the lack of a font size setting under the menu settings: 1) If you you have updated your device to (or if it already came with) Froyo (Android 2.2) - it is avalable on the Gingerbread leaked ROMs too - go to 'Menu > Settings > Accessibility', and tick both 'Accessibility' (this one you can leave ticked for good) and 'Zoom mode' (for this one you'll get a confirmation popup screen). A magnifying square will appear. Untick this setting to remove it. Whilst active, you can move it around by tapping, holding and dragging any of the 4 stripes on its edges. You can also set the magnification level, by tapping on either '-' or '+' signs. If you don't want to keep activating and deactivating it whenever you need it, you can leave it partially hidden, by dragging it to one of the screen's corners, the one which would bother you less.
2) Install 'Any Cut', by Jeff Hamilton, from the Android Market. Then, tap and hold any empty area on any of your home screens, and select 'Shortcuts > Any Cut > Activity'. Wait for the list to be updated, scroll down, tap 'Display' (attention: it's NOT 'Display settings') anf 'OK'. Tap that newly created shortcut. Tap the arrow right below 'Font', select 'Large', and tap 'OK'
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.

Anyway, please, let me know if I can assist you any further.

Regards, Carlos

This is a problem in the software of your GPS. Your best bet would be to try and update the firmware on it, and hopefully they have fixed this problem in the newer firmware.

I have Windows XP. I connected the hard drive according to the directions and the first message read USB device not recognized. The second message read Try reconnecting. If windows does not recognize it...

If it is a desktop computer, try connecting to one of the rear USB ports. sometimes drives won't be recognized properly from a secondary USB or HUB. If it's a notebook go into control panel and see if you can find and delete unknown devices in hardware then attach and see if it connects. XP should not need a driver install.

2003 Honda Accord Ex - navigation stopped functioning

Hi, it could be that the screen is in the off position, press daylight/night button twice. From what I've read in other forums pressing that button twice turns the sat nav screen off. Buying an updated DVD will not solve the problem. you can also try a dvd cleaner.
Your lucky if your progress bar has fully loaded up. Mine hung up with about 2% and will not respond in any way now, I have to send it away to Alpine for fixing. Hope this helps

Device not ready message

I had the same problem trying to transfer pics from my camera. The error message is "The Device is not Ready." I got mad when I read the "solution" from the "plumber" that said to read the directions. DUH!. Now for the real solution... and reading the directions won't help. Your PC is trying to find the camera connected to a specific drive. In my case it was the "E" drive which was already in use, mapped to a shared drive. Once I disconnected that drive it fixed my problem. To disconnect, highlight the drive, go to Tools and Disconnect Network Drive. Reboot the PC and plug the camera in before booting back up. (If you have hardware connected to the drive, right mouse click on the drive and eject.)
