Do you mean the onscreen text or pictures don't rotate when you turn the tablet sideways? If so, on the Home screen tap Settings, then scroll all the way down the settings past the bottom of the screen. Near the end of the list is Accessibility. Tap that, and then in the System section be sure there's a check in the box next to Auto-rotate screen. If there isn't, tap the checkbox to put one in. Then press the back arrow till you're back at the Home screen, and when you rotate your tablet the pictures and text should remain horizontal.
Check the settings if the rotation is enabled. If it is, you might have to open it and make sure the sensor works or bring it to a repair shop, incase something breaks while opening.
i had the same problem...this is what you do. u check to see if you have a magnetic phone case or if ur phone has been exposed to any magnets. idk why but magnets mess up the screen rotation. all u have to do is take a magnet and pass over the phone once and it should go back to normal. but dont ever expose the phone to any magnets.
hope this helps
I just got my phone today and had the same problem. I figured that on the way over, something magnetic messed up the polarity of the magnet that snaps the slider back into place. It's used to sense the orientation of the phone so that it can rotate the screen.
All I did was take a regular magnet, slide out the slider and run/rub the magnet over the back of the slider...watch the screen; it'll magically rotate and right itself. Very cool. Physics once again saves the day:D
