Question about Acer Aspire 5500 5570-2609 Laptop
If the shift key still works maybe the keyboard is set in "uk layout" the@ is on a different key. its on the one directly above the up arrow on the righthand side shift key.
i had the reverse problem the @ symbol was on the 2 key. just had to right click the taskbar go to toolbars. place a tick against language bar. then right click on the new icon on the taskbar and change the default input language.
