when belkin router is inline - unable to download from audiognome - take router out and all is ok - firewall is disabled on router- hope you can help thanks
I have the same problem.

I have a NR041 Linksys 4 port router try'n to port forward it for faster dl speeds, looking for solutions online led me here..

I have windows vista and I have a belkin router and I have limewire on my laptop and it will not connect. I have zone alarm on my laptop for my firewall. Is there a way to turn off my firewall on my router?

Or Just go mentally insane like i have been... trying to forward my router for GGPO so i can play Street Fighter lag free online.

You need to set up port forwarding, so your router passes the correct ports to your computer

For me to help more, I'd need your router model number, and you need to find out what port the program uses (there might be an option to change the port in the program itself)

I've just looked into it, I think the port you want to forward is 8888.

Get me the model number of your router and i'll give you steps on how to set up port forwarding
