Question about Singer 5050 Mechanical Sewing Machine
I don't know how to oil my singer 5050c machine. The manual doesn't explain how. Help?

You can get a free download from Singer. The maintenance section should have the information you are looking for.

Browse to http://www.singerco.com/accessories/instruction-manuals
and in the search field type in your model number, in this case, 5050, then click "search".
Most manuals are free to download as pdfs.

Normally any lubrication is required only when there is a friciton with dirt accumulation . Since the moving parts are set with lubrication it is not necessary to repeat any oiling unless you feel the machine moves with a friction. If so check out on the moving shaft for tiny holes to be fed with oil , just need to doze lightly on the moving parts, bushes and rollers of the main shaft.
