Question about LG RD-JT40 Multimedia Projector
My projector suddenly went dead while i was using it with no warning of the bulb needing replacing or that it was too hot. The projector now makes a clicking noise for a few seconds when it is turned on and after a few more seconds the projector turns off with the bulb wanrning light permanently on. I assume I need a new bulb but I am concerned that even with a new bulb the same problem will occurr. any ideas??
On the plate you have removed to remove the lamp there is a pin. So refit the plate("doar") and the noise will be gone. There should not be any damage to the projector (I did the same this moring with no bad effect to the projector)

Check the lamp,
does it look clean inside
is it fully home on the connecting pins
are the lamp door and fan switches made correctly
