I have a Wheelwriter 6 and the Lang light is on, (I don't know what I did) How do I get it off?

I believe you push the language key while holding down the code key or just push the language key by itself.

The vowel keys don't work

If they print a different letter you arae in the language mode code L will correct if it does nothing you need a keyboard.

When I reach the end of the line and press enter, it goes to the next line but not to the beggining. Instead it jus come back a few cm. When I try to accent a word, it jumps a space. Pedro

Not returning is likely lubrication. Put a shot of WD40 on both sides of the silver shaft that the carrier slides on, and s a shot on the front and rear bearings of the carrier motor located under the case at the R. rear corner. You can reach the front one from inside the case the rear one you must fish nthe straw thru the case or remove it. The jumping a space I don't know if you are talking a vertical space or a Horz. space. You can put it a language mode (CODE "L") that eliminates spaces on "P" & "L".
Go to for a manual. I suggest you copy and paste this address.

I don't fully understand the question, but you may be in the language mode. Try CODE "L".

If you aren't in KBII or a language mode or P.S. pitch the printwheel homing pawl is probably broken. You need a tech.

Olympia typewriter changing Language

It is "unlikely" that the machine contains both English and Arabic languages...not enough room in the memory plus keytops would be different for the 2 languages.
