Hello bahnoor,
First check to see if your audio device is listed. To do this.
If your unable to update the driver or the problem persists after updating, uninstall the device driver from within the driver section of the properties and download the latest driver from Dell. I've included a link to the dell drivers page where you can find the driver you need. Just select the operating system that you have installed on your computer (XP or Vista) and download and install the appropriate driver listed under the Audio section.
Once downloaded you should be able to double click the file and follow the prompts to install the driver.
