DV1000T chip PC87541V-VPC is extremly oveheating and freeze keybord

I have a problem exactly as i wrote in topic. When i start notebook it works fine for about 1 minut. But after that time it freeze the keybord but rest is still runing.
How do i know that this chip is overheating? because i took off the bottom of the case and touched this chip. My finges was nearly fried. And computer worked only ONE minut. Processor was cold but this chip was burning hot.
How can I solve this problem? Maybe some of the SMD elements is bad? But wich?

I've already cleaned the electronic and heatsink of this notebook.
And i repeat, processor is COLD. The other chip is overheating.
Look at this picture, It has no heatsink on it.

And i think that something is wierd. When I plug power supply adaptor, this chips is getting hoter even without turning on the notebook!

Are these i/o chips a straight drop in replacement or do they need to be pre-programmed?

try booting without the ac adapter, just the battery. If you have a meter, try to determine if the ac adapter output is what it should be.
Sorry I couldn't be more help. Let me know how it works running off the battery only.

One way to stop the computer from overheating, is to completely strip it and clean out all of the dust. Typically it is dust in the heatsink the overheats the processor, resulting in the problem you are currently having. If you decide to take the heatsick off of the processor, you should wipe all of the heat grease off the processor and heatsink then reapply new heat grease. Make sure you only apply a very thin layer onto the processor.

Hp pavillion dv9000 laptop restart/ hang after 1 hour & shows garbage display in between it. pls tell me whether it's the problem of nvedia or display cable

This is more likely a problem with the nVidia video chip. The problem with this laptop model is that the video chip extremely overheats. When you shut down the computer, the video chip cools down. When this cycle repeats several times, the solder holding the chip to the motherboard starts to dry & eventually crack. When this happens, symptoms like the one you described starts to appear.

Sometimes viruses can trigger slow start ups. Try running your virus scan. also, you should make sure that your memory is working correctly. When you have a memory stick that has failed, its hard to tell if you have over 2 gigs of mem installed but, when you start it up, it will struggle during the process.

Your machine is overheating. Try cleaning the vents with a can of compressed air and making sure the heat sync is free of dust. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the fans.

Hp Pavillion laptop freezes when I install secondary memory

You may not put all together the 256 and 512, the system encountered error when two memory are not equal size and not equal brand.

Either you select 2 units 256 memory or either 2 units 512. or use only 1 unit 512 memory so that no freezes will happen.

Computer freezes...but not in the normal manner

The intel chip that is under the touch pad is the culprit. If you open the laptop by removing the keyboard, you will notice the chip just under the cover. i have tried putting pressure on it with an eraser and got some results. Mackay Rigava
