Hi, I just got a new t-mobile wing. I seriously am not a very
technology savvy person. I just finished adding all my 'contacts' and
now when I click the contacts button (on the bottom left side of the
screen or under the start button) I can only view the last person I
called (from two days ago) When I click the 'ok' in the far top right
corner it won't close out I have to press the red end key to get out...
I NEED HELP... I added over 75 contact numbers and the only way I can
see them is when I'm adding a recipient for texts... Can someone help me? I would really appreciate it. Thank you for ur time and take care!

Re: t-mobile wing 'contacts' page problem
The best way is to do a hard reset and start over again. Remember to back up all your data before doing it. I receommend you copy all contact into your SIM and move all of them over the phone contact then it will be ok. Let me know if you still have trouble.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. goodluck!

You need to do a hard-reset. This will erase your added content (third party programs stored in phone memory, notes store in phone memory, etc.)
You must press the reset button while pressing the left and right soft-buttons at the same time. You need your stylus or something small enough to press the recessed button next to the volume control. Once you press the reset button, keep holding the soft buttons it is reset. The display lock should be gone... as well as everything else you put on it.
it should work, but you can contact t-mobile and have this unlocked. the code should be different for every device and it is free to contact your provider if you have been with the company for more then 90 days.....you will have to first have a NON T-Mobile sim card to put in the phone.....att will work fine or any other wireless provider.
You don't have to contact T-Mobile for unlocked code since you are no longer their customer but yo canbuy an unlocked code on Ebay.com by register with Ebay as a new user, choose option Cell phones & PDAs from Categories and then scroll down to look for Unlocking Kits and Codes and then type your phone model, it will show you a bunch of unlocking code for sale. Good Luck
Ok. So stumbled across this page because I was having the same problem, i.e. all of a sudden the wing was moving unbelievably slow and would lock up if I tried to text. I pulled out the battery, classic, and then I pulled out the sim card. Then I put the battery back in and started it with out the sim card. I unlocked the phone with my code, I couldn't do the second "unlock" because there was no sim card. However, I could play solitaire, look at memory; ya know, mess with the basics. Then I turned the phone off with the power button, pulled the battery out, put the sim card back in, turned the phone on and now everything is great! I have even texted with no problems! hope this works for you!!!
