Try reconnecting the connection. Do this by opening the little door on the wii by where you insert the disk. There should be a red button that says "synch" on it. Hold down that button for a couple seconds, and the Wiimotes should start to flash. Open up the battery door and hold down the red button until it registers. Hopefully this will work for your problem.

How do you get the nitendo game cube to play on the wii

The Nintendo Wii already comes with everything needed to play GameCube. GameCube disks are loaded and unloaded from the system in the same way that Wii game disks are used. To play the games you are going to need a GameCube controller and a GameCube memory card to save progress. On the top of the system (if the system is vertical) or on the side (if it is laying down) are two flaps, one which opens to reveal the controller ports and the other reveals the slots for the memory cards. To play GameCube, simply select the top left square from the main menu (like you would for any Wii game), select start, and then use the GameCube controller to play the game.

Wii remote moves the wrong way on screen.

If it only does it during Call of Duty then go into the options menu in the call of duty game and go to the controller settings. and there should be a "invert aim" or something along those lines in there that you can turn on and off....you want to have it off in order to have it go right to right and left to left. That sounds like your problem it probably got accidentally flipped on.

I just bought a wii

You have to Synchronize it before playing. You take off the caps of the wii controllers and then you see a red button and near the wii start button there should be a cap to open it, you press both of them at the same time and it should Synchronize. If you need more help or any other explanation you should turn on your wii and it should show you the Details. :]

My nintendo gamecube controller won't work in my nintendo wii

Are you talking about the controller or memory card?? If the controller try plugging it into the second gamecube controller slot even if you are wanting it for player one. This is the only way I have been able to get it to work.

Can't play using standard controllers.

that depends on the game. some games require both wii mote and wiimote+nunchuk. IF the game has an option to disable this however, it would be in the main menu's options screen.
