Foam filter fabric

You should wash the foam filter and plastic frame it fits in very frequently. Be sure to dry thoroughly or you will suck moisture into your motor. If you hold the plastic frame up to the light you should be able to see through the mesh type material. If you can't, replace the filter. The HEPA filter cannot be washed. For best performance and longer life of the vacuum replace the filters about once per year.

You need to take all of the hardware that holds the liner up. Take the liner out slowly ,not to damage it. You will have to remove the material and or sponge by hand.(do not peel layers)A good fabric shop will have replacement material. Bring a piece of the old fabric with you to match color of fabric.3M does make a headliner glue sold at a parts house to replace material. Measure liner from front to back ,not side to side. What I am saying is like from the rearview mirror to the back glass. Add at least a foot or two more to measurement. You will have to cut out holes for the hardware after you glue it down to the shell. You will also have to roll the material over the sides and glue the backsides. What I am saying about this is there is no molding where the shell meets the rearview mirror so roll it and glue it to the backside of shell , do the same for the back glass area of the shell. Use care when spraying glue not to get glue on the fabric. When you roll the fabric over and glue it you can hold the fabric down with a folded piece of cardboard held with clothes pins .Replace shell about 8 hrs later. Do not do this on a rainy day ,make sure it is sunny or hot day . Also when you spray the glue spray the shell and the sponge side with glue but do not over saturate the sponge or board that it would seep through the material. Good Luck!

Firstly ensure that the impeller is in the motor house.
If so make sure the well the impeller sits in is clear of debris.

If so try running the motor out of the water and removed from the filter, if the impeller doesn't move try giving it a nudge with a pencil.
If none of this works the sealed motor may be broken and will need to be taken to the supplier for repair or replacement.

If you have a 2007-2010 model Quinny Buzz you need to remove the infant foam fabric from the sub seat (seat frame) and replace it with the 2nd stage seat fabric (also known as the XL)

This filter was only used on the early 40 ( 1985/6 ) it was part no. 506014801, there was a retro fit kit so as to fit the pent nylon filter from the later machine, it consisted of the carb plate, the carb back plate and the filter, the throttle cable outer was secured in the carb back plate, and not in the carb plate as on yours, all of these parts are still available, let me know if you need part no.s to convert it, try the web for the original foam filter.

Depending on age there may be one or two filters. A Hepa filter is an exhaust filter generally at the back end of the vac, sometimes at the back top.
For this style filter there will be a small grill with a release tab on it, simply pull the finger tab and the grill should pop off revealing the filter.
There is normally a bag chamber filter behind the dust bag as well. Open the bag chamber below the tool storage and remove the bag.There will be a soft filter sitting behind the bag on most models. If it is a sponge type it can be washed and reinstalled when dry, but if fabric it is disposable.Make sure you have replacement filters in hand before changing as some filters simply pop into a reusable frame, often a red frame. If the material slides out the frame is generally reusable, if glued in , it is likely disposable.
USE only the specified filter and chose the best quality multi ply filter bags for maximum vac performance and efficiency

Headliner you mean? Do it yourself. You can buy the thin foam underpad, & spray adhesive on it, then material chosen from a fabric shop. Scrape old stuff off good, spray adhesive on cardboard like headliner, apply foam, then spray foam good, and apply fabric, let it cure overnight, wrap material around to back side, and put back in place. Follow directions on adhesive, and make sure it's o.k. (compatible) on foam & material.

I have the same problem with a pair of Fostex Headphones. I have taken them apart and I have removed the rubber type ring that the foam fits over.
I am going to order a cheap pair of thin foam Headphone ear covers from Ebay. (They are available in various sizes) and stick the foam to the ring and follow that
by sticking the ring back in. Should work if the foam is thin enough. What do you think?
