I haven't touched a single setting in my computer but I went to connect to a web conversation and my computer simply says "Camera not found". Its not even there in the hardware. What may have happened and how do I fix it?
When I click on the icon to start the Acer Crystal Eye webcam I get a message the program isn't working and Microsoft will notify me when there is a solution. I have an Acer Aspire 5520. I got the laptop for Christmas and the webcam worked. I didn't use it for about 3 weeks. When I tried to use it about a week ago the problem started.

Thank you - I fixed the problem. It seems you have to empty your pictures folder to make the web cam work. I think Acer should come up with a better solution. Apparently there is a conflict with the web cam on the Acer laptop when you have pictures in the picture folder. They should fix the problem instead of telling users to creating a new folder for your pictures.
i have an acer aspire 5520 my crystal eye webcam has sstoped working ...i also uninstalled it...i downloaded the application but dont know wat 2 do from there ...how can i get the web cam back?
