If you have a load that is more than this inverter will take it will not output anything. Try just a light bulb if this does not work then the output if fried or the output fuse/breaker if it has one is blown.

Xantrex Freedom X won't run refrigerator, and error code 03.

Question edited for clarity. Error is zero-3 not letter oh-3.

There are three models, an your load has exceeded its capacity

E03 AC output overload shutdown Reduce the loads connected to the AC outlet of the unit. Check appliances that have high-surge ratings and disconnect if necessary. NOTE: This could be a logical fault, hard reset and reassess the error condition.

Xantrex powerpack 400 pluse air compressor needs new piston were can i find one

http://www.xantrex.com/power-products-support/overview.aspx

That link will probably not get you much help but it is all Xantrex offers for out of warranty products. You may be better off to find a small compressor at Walmart or autoparts store and see if you can adapt it to the space in the PP400.

Powerpack 400 plus When 115v switch is turned on AC light is on but alarm sounds and has no output

Hi, I bought a new Black & Decker one of these and when I got it home and charged it, it acted the same way. I assume it has an internal battery. These gel-cell spill-proof lead acid batteries will dry out and one cell will loose power for a load, but will indicate "full". 99% of these batteries have replacements available on line under S L A (spill-proof lead acid) batteries, or if you have a friend with a WW GRAINGER account, they stock them.

Error light in my apc smart ups sc 1500va ups

1. Four beeps every 30seconds (On Battery LED will be illuminated)
This alarm indicates that the Battery PowerSupplied outlets are now supplying battery power as opposed to power from theutility. If the UPS determines that the input utility power is unsafe for yourcomputer equipment, the UPS will switch to battery power.
Note: Ifthe power disturbance is brief, you may only hear one or two beeps.

2. Continuous Beeping (On Battery LED will beilluminated)
This alarm indicates that a Low Batterycondition has been reached and that the UPS will soon shutdown. Once the UPStransfers to On Battery operation, it can only stay on battery for a limitedamount of time. The UPS will sound this alarm about two minutes before thebatteries are totally exhausted. Once exhausted, the UPS will shutdown and turnoff its output power to your equipment. If you hear this tone you shouldimmediately shutdown your computer to prevent data loss or corruption.

3. Continuous Beeps for 30 seconds (BackUPS OFFICE 250 and 280 ONLY)
This alarm indicates the unit has detected anOverload condition after it has performed a self-test during start-up.

4. Continuous Two-Tone Beep
This alarm indicates a severe Overload wasdetected while the unit was on-battery operation. This tone will continue tosound until the unit shuts down.

5. Continuous Tone (On Battery LED will beflashing)

6. Continuous Tone (On Line and On BatteryLEDs flashing) Back UPS OFFICE 350,400, and 500 ONLY
This alarm indicates that an internal UPS faulthas occurred.

I hadnever used my Xantrex Prosine 1800i 250/240 V inverter with internltransfer switch, When wiring it up first, I made a mistake and went to the outgoing terminal with the incoming voltage and vice...

Unfortunately, if you put AC power on the output of the inverter, you have likely blown the output transistors. Although the inverter can produce AC, they generally do not survive AC from some other source being put onto the output. MY guess is that the inverter is shot, but repairable.

Sorry for the bad news. If I were you, I would call Xantrex and see what they say.

Xantrex Inverter/Charger has no AC output

HI

Checking AC Output
1. After the battery voltage and connections have been checked, disconnect the inverter.s AC output wires from
the power distribution system and connect a light to the AC output of the inverter/charger.
2. Disconnect the remote panel to eliminate it as a possible problem.
3. Turn the inverter ON using the power switch on the front panel of the inverter. The 100-watt light should
illuminate. Measure the voltage at the AC output wires using the multimeter. The reading should be 114.126
VAC or approximately 230 VAC if the unit is an international model. If the light does not illuminate, there is
a problem with the inverter. Contact Xantrex technical support.

Xantrex Prosine 1800i "DCDC Shutdown" when connecting AC Load

Hi Schnupfy,

Well, it may be advertised as 1800 watts, but that is a peak. While the 230 VAC may be dead on target, don't expect it to run a mig welder.

Sustained high output is totally dependent upon the power source. What it's doing is protecting itself. DCDC Shutdown indicated 'An overload or system Fault'

Possible problems that would cause this:

  • The load is too high (what is the load?)
  • The power source is intermittent or weak
  • The power source is run through a distribution panel or isolator (Voltage drop)
  • The wiring from the 12VDC source is too long for the gauge used
Click here for a PDF copy of the manual. It is quite well documented.

BEST REGARDS,
MIKE

Xantrex power inverter 1750

The 14 AWG Positive wire should be connected to one side of a 30 A relay (typical fog lamp relay available at most automotive stores). The relay's other 30 A contact should be connected to the battery positive post via a 10 AWG (up to 6 ft/2 m)
