Question about Epson Stylus Photo R300 InkJet Printer
I have a white thin line down the middle of my printouts. It actually has some chalkiness to it. I have cleaned the nozzles and realigned everything, but the line remains. What do you suggest?
I had a printer come in for repair for pretty much the same problem, a bit of chalk had fallen in were the paper goes and got fed through under the exit rollers
Not too sure on the R 320 but on a lot of the Epson printers the exit rollers are spring loaded - the are the little rollers just before the head - Have a look and see if you can spot anything, esp in the area were your mark is, if you cannot see anything, does the area look a bit raised?
If there is something there, what you can try is tilt the printer back so to paper in part is near the floor, then try and lift the exit rollers up a bit and hope that the object will drop out the back - be very careful lifting the rollers
