My LCD Television which I bought a year ago (Just out of Guarantee) cuts out for no reason. Picture disappears, it then goes to blue screen, then blue screen disappears also. The green marker light to signify "on" at the front of television changes to red. Sometimes if I press the "on" button on remote control the picture will come back, but more often I have to turn television off at mains then turn back on again. This is becoming more frequent now, about every 5 minutes on average. I bought a power surge protector for it yesterday thinking it may be sensitive to slight changes in power supply, but problem is still there. Could you possibly offer some advice?

The blue screen means that you have lost signal. If the set don't have signal for so long it turns itself off. "power saver feature" Check all connections or replace cables, If that don't work the signal board may be going bad.
