I baught a laptop a year ago and i used it here @ work..it would only get signal here @ work so recently I baugha new modem from at&t and know that im trying to install the wireless is telling me that my wireless system is turned off that I need to turn it on..I have looked evrywere and I cannot find the button to do that ..so Can u please help me..or tell me how i reboot or restart my computer....I dont really mind if I erase any information I have there......I wanted to erase evrything..

please help

click on start-->settings-->control panel.
In control panel you should see an icon that is associated with your internal wireless card. Double click on it and you shoyld be able to work the rest out from there.
