It seems to me as a typical Power Supply fault. You most likely need a new PSU. They are about $50.00. for a 350 Watt.

I just replaced the power supply to my hp a3500w and now it will turn on but all it does is beep. It doesnt recognize the moniter, keyboard or mouse. What else do I need to check? I tried disconnecting...

Hi kelden !

Usually when a computer fails to start, and all it does is making repetitive beeps, it means that something is wrong with the RAM memory.
Try to take off the RAM modules, clean the contacts, and put it back again firmly.

Best of luck,
omerk.

My computer keeps beeping and will not show on the moniter it turns on but does nothing

you have a bad periferal/module (RAM, HARD DRIVE, VIDEO CARD, MODEM, etc...) remove them one at a time to target the faulty module

No power to moniter

This kind of problem needs an isolation. Please try the steps below:

1. Check the physical connection and make sure that the power cable is properly seated to the monitor.
2. Connect the monitor into different power outlet.
3. Try using different power cable.

Otherwise, you need to bring your monitor to the repair shop if none of the steps help.

Have a great day!

One long beep, two shorter beeps - HP laptop will not start up

Hi...
I had the same problem...
The solution is only temporary and you will have to reapply it after around 5 to 6 boots cuz it'll just happen again (the beep syndrome).

Just heat up the laptop by turning it on and covering its air vents with your hands.

Then after you hear the beeps turn it off.
Turn the laptop on again and immediately turn it over upside down with the lid closed ofcoarse (simply put it on its back).Hopefully you wont hear the beeps and when you open up the laptop lcd...voila display.

Not turning on

I find if you don't hear a beep...then the RAM could be faulty or wrong values.
Some Ram uses 2 RAM slots to boot.Hope this helps.

New acer 19 " moniter plug in will not turn on ?

Hi,
Try other outlet, check the power cord if it contacted the monitor. If nothing happened, maybe it's factory defect, since it still under warranty, you can still change it.
Thanks

Wont turn on

I don't think the outlet you are plugging it into has enough power to support the ps3. Try plugging it into a different outlet and see if it works.
