6300 Won't turn on

The battery in my Nokia 6300 died during a bluetooth file transfer, since then the phone won't turn on, it shows the word 'NOKIA' and lights up, but then it flashes the screen about 5 times then shuts down again. Can someone help me please? Thank you.

Thank you for your suggestion, but the battery is fine. If it is software is there anything I can do with it? I can't establish a USB connection as the phone wont turn on. Thanks again. Andy.

I'm having the exact same issue with my Nokia 6275i. I would really rather not send my phone away for a month or more to Nokia to have it fixed. I wish there was something I could do to fix it myself.

    anyone with suggestions?

My phone has the same problem. One day i was playing music off of it and the screen froze and it powered down. Ever since i have been trying to turn it on but the blue lights would flash and the screen won't come on. Other times the screen would come on but it would freeze and power down again.

Please, what should I do? I love this phone. Could it be the battery?

Something similar affecting my 6300. From starting up intermittently it now only shines the blue lights (on battery or charge) - afraid I don't understand the advice 'scan your mobile'. Please advise

This is real weird, i'm having the same problem. I was listening to music and pulled out the earplugs by accident and the phone powered down. Now when I try to start it up the blue side lights flash and then nothing. Anyone any advice?

My 6300 has a similar problem, except even when it is charged fully I turn the phone on and it only displays the little battery icon in the top left hand corner, nothing else. The blue lights on the side also flash for a about 10 seconds but then it all turns off again. Please Help!

Got the same problem as some of the other posters. No nokia sign, the blue lights just light up if i try turning it on, and they stay lit up until i take out the battery.
    Tried charging it, no good.
Hapeened after my phone got put in a SLIGHTLY wet bag. Fairly poor design on nokia's part if that's the cause.

has anyone had any working solutions to this problem??

my 6300 has done this before... but after charging for hours it worked again.

this time I've had the phone on charge all night and this morning it still wont turn on. It does all the usual start up things... but as soon as it looks as if it is ok it turns itself off again...

after a bluetooth transfer, the phone suddenly shuts down, and when i charged it, and turned it on again, it only flashed the nokia sign and turned off by itself shortly after.

It probably needs replacing. Batteries are generally the first component to go faulty on cell phones. It might be swollen -- this is a clear indication that the battery is useless.
