I can't get my boys

I can't get my boys PS3 to talk to my AOL Netgear wireless router,it identifies the router, i put in the WPA code but comes back with a msg to check the security setting on the router, I have done this & included the ps3 mac code as a trusted source but still can't connect?

try turning off your virus software or check the manual for the router

what exactly have you tried?
i had a similar problem with my first psp,(i got a new one)
it was the psp that was defective,
do you have more than one game system?
if so does the same problem occur?
i think it might be your router.
