Setting the clock on a Philips MCB240

I am unable to re-set the clock on my Philips MCB240 Micro Hi-Fi System. I can get to to flashing clock stage but when I try and put the time in by wat of the volume control it flicks back to the radio/cd and the actual folume goes up.
This happens when using the remote and the buttons on the system itself

TDX250i idock CD Hi-Fi power is on but unit is only showing the clock and does not switch on

The unit needs service- the control chip may have been upset with the plugging in of the device again. Unplug for a while and then try again.
There can be a defective capacitor in the unit as well. I could only tell you what the problem is after I fix it.

Can I play the music from my blackberry on this radio?

Hello

Yes, you can do this, but you need a certain cable to enable you to do this. You need a mini jack, which plugs into the blackberry, to RCA which plugs into the Hi Fi system. If you find the cable(You can make it yourself), you just plug the mini jack into your phone, and the RCA into the HI FI, and set the HI FI to the certain input setting and it should work perfectly. Hope this can solve your problem.

Best regards
Andrea

Cant eject cd, no sound

HI, you have a damaged IC chip on the main board that is not allowing proper sound distribution at this time and, the load motor on the CD assembly is also damaged. this is the reason for the trapped CD that wont eject.

Unfortunately, Micro dose all of its repairs in house and you will have to send this unit to the Micro techs for this repair.
