needle thread cotton keeps breaking

why cant i find a solution to this problem with a new machine

WizAs obvious as it may seem goes through the basics, make sure when you thread the machine that the presser foot is up so the thread goes between the tension discs, top tension between 4 and 6, use a good mercerised thread, make sure the needle is in the correct way round.
