Question about Computers & Internet
I have turned off the computer and printer but the docment is still ther
Assuming you're using Windows XP, what probably happened is the print job got hung up in the Print Spooler. To clear that, go to your Control Panel and then to Administrative Tools. Bring up Services. From that point, scroll down the list to Print Spooler and choose the STOP function (little black square box). If you happen to refresh your printers list, it'll show no installed printers. Count to ten and then START the Print Spooler service (the little black triangle). That should clear out any hanging print jobs.
