Question about Mitsubishi WD-65733 65" HDTV

My Mitsubishi 65744 - No Picture

I have a new 65733 Mit Projection TV and the TV does not want to keep settingsand you have to have the auto search always find the device you are using to tune?How do you get around this problem?

Lamp could be the problem or Ballast board that powers Lamp on. Encompass Parts Distribution visit their website and look up your Model#

If you get White or black dots all over the screen (DMD symptom)

Mitsubishi WD-65733 no picture, electrical buzzes in series


What it sound's like is that the lamp ballast is the problem. Buzzing sounds like when the power is first brought to the ballast it has to ramp up the voltage to get the lamp to light, then the voltage drops back down when the lamp is lit. Sounds like the lamp ballast isn't ramping up the voltage the way it should. May have to replace it. A good service shop would be able to do this for you.

Convergence ICs Two of them STK392-570 ,they are big black ICs,Replace with same Number on ICs.You can order them at MATS 1-800-628-1118.
