Since there is less light, the camera leaves the shutter open for a longer time....plenty of time for you to move the camera slightly enough to blur the pictures. Here are some suggestions:
1. If the camera has some version of "shake control" or "image stabilization", turn it on.
2. Set the ISO to a higher number.
3. Turn on more lights inside if possible.
4. Use a tripod or set the camera on a firm surface.
Blurred images can have different reasons. Greasy lens, camera shake or focus error.
You can clean a greasy lens with a lens-cleaner solution and lens-paper. Camera shake will (most likely) only occur on images taken without the flash. Most likely there will be a warning on the display if risk of shake. it's a hand with an "!". Focus error will usually also give a warning in the display.
Sopundspretty daft I know but I have been caught out in this way too. If it's a new camera and been blurry all the time make absolutely sure there is no fine protective cover over lens or particularly the screen. Sounds silly but just a faint chance! Good luck. Judging by the number of problems it looks as though it's time to bring back the old style 'proper' cameras, don't you think? "Grumpy Old Man".
1. What is the focal length of lens you are using?
2. Is the blur occurring with lens with a lower focal length than the telelens?
3. Do you still get a blur when you use the telelens with a tripod or a firm base?
