Hi,
Some supporting files missing in ur Desktop.Better to format hard disk and reinstall windows.

How to reswtore to factory settings in Dell computer without disc



Why you want to reinstall the OS:

* System affected by virus,worms,spams and bluescreen

* Any OS issues and you are not able to get into windows


How to reinstall the OS:

* Normally in a computer to reinstall OS and the drivers it may take about minimum of 1 hour but using the dell partition we can do it in 25 mins and you don't need to install drivers seperately

To reinstall OS (Windows XP):

* While turning on the computer in the Dell screen you need to press control +F11 keys simultaneously

* Once you do that it will take you to a different screen were it will ask for your confirmation to reinstall the OS

* Once you confirm it the reinstallation will take place and the computer will reboot

* After that you will be prompted to provide informations like date and time zone,computer name and such things

* After this it will get into the regular desktop screen..

* All the drivers will be preinstalled other than the softwares that you installed on the computer

To reinstall OS (Win Vista or Win 7):

* While turning on the computer in the Dell screen you need to press the F8 key

* This will take you to the advance boot option were you need to select Repair my computer

* After that you need to select the Dell image restore or Dell factory restore

* Follow the onscreen instructions and it will ask for your confirmation to reinstall the OS

* Once you confirm it the reinstallation will take place and the computer will reboot

* After that you will be prompted to provide informations like date and time zone,computer name and such things

* After this it will get into the regular desktop screen

* All the drivers will be preinstalled other than the softwares that you installed on the computer


Note: Please take a backup of all the files before reinstalling the OS

If you dont have the default dell partition then you need to reinstall the OS using the CD

My windows 7 starter does not start only gives me a start up repair screen @ i got a linkid=104288


You could try to reinstall windows and see if that helps, but the hard drive is likely bad. There isn't anything to be done for a dead hard disk, so it would be best to back up the information on this one, attempt a reinstall, and then if that fails, get a new hard drive.

1st, can you specify what OS u changed and what is the current OS? Also what kind of interface (Is it USB, PS/2 or something else) does the mouse use?

Assuming this is windows then a stop error is an error in the operating system. You can try to go to safe mode by hitting f8 while booting and then do a restore to a previous date when the computer worked. If that doesnt work then you would need to try to re-install the operating system and see if that works. If none of the above works then more than likely the hard drive has gone bad. I recently had a customer with the error and I tried both safe mode and new -os install and still got stop errors. I changed the Hard drive out and everything was perfect!

My mac 10.6 OS does not have any drivers but generic. I can't use the full benefit of the copier


You will not be able to, because the primary drivers for the Toshiba E-Studio 3511 Color Copier, are too old for the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard printer.

As you already may be experiencing, the range of use for your Toshiba E-Studio 3511 may work with various generic drivers and will not improve due to the Toshiba printer's incompatibility with Mac OS X 10.4 - 10.6.

You will in fact, always have a very limited to basic use of this Toshiba Color copier in Snow Leopard, because the driver support stopped at Mac OS X 10.3 Panther and there are not even any drivers for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger for this Toshiba printer.

* Windows98/Me/2000/XP/2003 Server (only 32Bit), * * Windows NT4.0,
* Macintosh 9.X, X ver10.1/10.2/10.3

Here is how to do a master clear or master reset on most Motorola cell phones.
If you have a Motorola cell phone and want to clear all numbers out of the address book and reset factory settings you need to use the master reset function.
First you need to go to the main menu, settings, setup, master clear option and enter six zeroes, 0000000
