Hi there , i guess your desktop does not have DVD writer software. That's why you copy & paste the movie, your computer read your DVD as a CD. So i suggest you install Nero CD/DVD burner software & try.
Thanks & Waiting for your feedback.

Why does DVD flick tell me there is not enough space on disc to burn image please step by step how do I fix it? ?

I assume it is referring to the available space on the DVD blank disc you have inserted in the DVD drive?. Standard DVD-R takes a capacity of 4.7Gb maximum. Dual layer discs are larger. Perhaps you are trying to burn too much data?

Have completed edit and clicked make movie . Programme refuses to

check again ur movie current size
make sure ur the file size want to copy into CDs suitable with cds capacity can hold.

. Do not copy more files to the CD than it will hold. Standard CDs hold up to 650 megabytes (MB). High-capacity CDs hold up to 850 MB. .Be sure that you have enough disk space on your hard disk to store the temporary files that are created during the CD writing process. For a standard CD, Windows reserves up to 700 MB of the available free space. For a high-capacity CD, Windows reserves up to 1 gigabyte (GB) of the available

Roxio media creator 7,closes when i go to burn dvd

Do you have sufficient RAM and hard drive space? This product needs lots of resources and your hard drive needs to be defragmented otherwise problems like this will occur. It just runs out of space to do things and gives in often with having enough space to tell you what has happened.

HELP I made a movie using Windows (Vista) Movie Maker, was able to burn it to a CD-R and it appears to have burned to a DVD-R but it won't play on my DVD - message says: Playback feature not available

Well it looks like you saved it in the wrong format and belave me I done this as well save it as a MPG or AVI and not WMA or WMV your going to need another disc to burn but we all learn from little mistakes I pray it works for you if not you may need to use like NERO instead or ROXIO is good too good luck to you..

Sonic MyDVD - not enough disc space

well, sonic dvd creates temporary files. I noticed it doesnt delete those files. they are somewhere in documents & Settings\(user)\
i can't seem to recall the exact place but its either under Application data or Local Settings\
you can check the disk size for these two folders and or the size for sonic folder in these two. would take few clicks and im sure you will reach there.
sorry for the partial answer as its been over 2 years when I had to find the missing disk space =)

Samsung make TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S182F

Hi,
on creation or compilation of any cd/dvd regardless of disk format or capacity. the finalizing of a disk. will write a TOC ( table Of Contents ) this will inform the drive reading the disk. whats on it. even if a cd or dvd writes 1 track of music. if thats all you put on the disk, and finalise it. that will be the finished capacity. if you use rw disks. you must format the disk before re-using it.
this will completely erase all previous data on it.
If as stated you are using Nero. there are setting options, to create a multi-session cd/dvd whereby you can add additional files at a later date. however this disk will not be readable, by any other computer-cd/dvd player. until the disk has been finalised, and produced the Table-Of-Contents. SAMSUNG BLACKJACK CAMERA

Many people clear photos and videos. However, they fail to clear audio recordings. Look for a long accidental recording of an audio. A long audio file also can take up all your disk space. So one day it has capacity to take 200 photos. The next day "no disk space". Hope it helps.

Error message, There is not free space...........

this is nothing to do with the writer, the space it is refering to is your c drive hard drive space. When a dvd burns a video or photos etc, it has to write the image of whatever you are getting it to write it to your hard drive first, then when all the files are checked and encoded it will only then burn to the dvd disc. Your problem is you do not have enough free space on your hard drive for this to happen, that is why an error is reported. A dvd needs atleast 5GB of hard drive space to encode it first then burn it so check in the properties of your C drive to see how much space you have left, a minimum of 10GB is recommended.
