Question about ASUS A3H Notebook

ASUS A3AC HELP

I recently reinstalled/reformatted an ASUS A3AC with Windows XP Home. I installed all but one driver... the audio driver. My system keeps saying "No Audio Device," even after downloading / installing all sorts of audio drivers... I have an Intel(R) MoBo, which I'm pretty sure there is a High Definition Sound Card built into it... how do I activate it?

Realize that you also need to load the Microsoft HD audio drivers as well.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM MEMORY CAPACITY THAT MY ASUS A3AC CAN HAVE? WHAT TYPE OF MEMORY WILL GO INTO THE ASUS A3AC? What maximum hard disk size can the ASUS A3Ac running Windows XP can have?

max memory is 2GB ddr2 533 also known as pc4200.
If you dont have sp1 or later, 137gb is the maximum HD your system will see. If you have service packs installed then you can have as big a HD as you want. You may need to use a disc partitioning program to get the full use out of large HD's

I reformatted my computer and i cant get drivers

If you have linksys hardware install the cd that came with hardware and get to linksys website and download latest driver. Reformatted cleans drive to zip data and you needed to reload XP to get it going so anything you installed after the system purchase you will have to reinstall.

How to install XP in toshiba Satellite L45-S7423 laptop

You cannot uninstall Windows Vista, but you can reinstall your previous operating system, which then replaces Windows Vista. To reinstall your old operating system, you must have the original installation disc. Back up your programs and files, insert the installation disc into your computer, and then reinstall the old operating system. To regain the hard disk space used by Windows Vista, reformat the disk during the reinstallation process. After reinstalling your previous operating system, reinstall your programs and files.
