Question about Niko 1920R Monitor
I see this is a very old post but the above solution is not how I was able to solve this issue.
My Niko monitor has 5 buttons on the front.
Find the button that bring up the main menu.
Then find the button that will cycle through the options to your main menu.
Select Setup Menu
In this menu there is the resolution notice menu.
In there you can change it to off.

When you load the splash screen of Diablo enter into settings. Make sure you have the game set to the screen resolution you want.
For the system. Open display properties. Click Settings, click Advanced, click Monitor. (Most games require 60 hertz) to run correctly. Change your monitor to 60 hertz. Than click the Adapter tab. Click list all modes. Move the slide bar to your normal screen res with 60 hertz. Click ok at every screen as you back out od display properties. That should stop your game from popping up.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
