Depending on the problem, it might not be cost effective to repair a 7 year old compact digital. I have not seen this model but I did some reading on the specs. It uses SD cards but is limited to the 512mb in size. The SD cards available now are 1GB or higher and are very cheap. I purchased a Fuji J20, which uses the SD cards also, and it is a 10.1 MP camera (as compared to yours at 5 MP) for less than 100$ You can read more about your camera here:
