Hello!

Please do ivofreax10 solution first before doing this;

In addition to ivofreax10, You should install the correct driver of your camera to the computer. But disconnect the camera before installing the software. The software is here: http://support.nikontech.com/cgi-bin/nikonusa.cfg/php/enduser/std_alp.php?p_prods=1%2C48&p_pv=2.48&p_cats=185&p_cv=1.185

just select the correct operating system on the download link.

the software driver is here:

may this help you. best regards, melnavz

    After installation of the driver, You can direct attach the camera and the computer will detect it for you. On the winXP SP2 the windows popup directly the drive of the camera detected and you choose the folder to open it and brose to the pictures and you can simply select the pictures and copy it where you want to copy in the computer. If the system is not SP2, you can borose it by simply going to the my computer and browse the drive detected by your computer.

    There some method that simply automatically detect the pictures in the camera. either you install the Nikon View 6.2.7 Full Version - WindowsNikon or the Nikon Capture 4.4.0 Full Version Installer - Windows

    Note: the camera should be own, in doing this. but other camera no need to switch on. just monitor incase.

You need a cable, wich means that you have it already in your box, or you can buy it from any electronic store for less than $10. when you buy the cable plug it in the computer than the other side of the cable to the camera. And install the CD that came with your camera so your computer could recognize it, After you finish those steps you can upload it easely. Hope this Helped you.

How to upload pics from memory card to computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

If your pictures are safely downloaded, the best way is to format the card in the camera. Just scroll to "format" in the menu list and follow the on-screen instructions.
