Windows Internet Explorer Errors on this webpage may cause it to work incorrectly

Internet Explorer users may experience frustration when the Internet browser displays an error code, especially if the error causes them to lose work or data.
However, many error codes can give insight into why the problem occurred and how it can be prevented it in the future.
Errors
Internet Explorer may display HTTP status code errors if it cannot display the webpage.
There are five classes of status codes that begin with the numbers 1 through 5. Each status code consists of three digits. 4xx describes client (user) errors.
4xx error codes include:
400 Bad File Request denotes inccorect web address syntax such as improper punctuation or capitalization.
401 Unauthorized denotes incorrect credentials (username and password). Users can attempt to access the page with different credentials.
403 Forbidden/Access Denied occurs when the server blocks access. The website owner may have instructed the server to block access to specific files or directories.
404 File Not Found denotes a missing webpage/file. This occurs when another site uses an incorrect link or the user incorrectly enters the website URL. Double check the address.
408 Request Timeout denotes that the the user or
user's computer stopped the request before the server could complete it.
According to Marc Liron, whom Microsoft has award the Most
Valuable Professional (MVP) award for his technical knowledge and community support, the 408 error can occur because the "user will either hit the stop button, close the browser, or click on a link before the page loads." Refresh the page to correct the issue.
5xx Errors b> Unlike 4xx status codes, 5xx status codes describe errors caused by the server that houses the webpage or file the user wants to access.

5xx errors include:

500 Internal Error denotes a server configuration issue. The error page may instruct the user to contact the website administrator and may provide a contact e-mail as well as additional information about the error.

501 Not Implemented denotes the server's inability to perform the request.

503 Service Unavailable denotes a temporary server status. The server may be overloaded or down for maintenance. Other Errors b> Internet Explorer may display a prompt that alerts the user of a javascript error or display a small triangle with an exclamation point (!) in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.

According to the UpdateXP website, Internet Explorer may display a "52 Runtime Error." http://www.updatexp.com/internet-explorer-error-messages.html This occurs because a javascript cannot find a file it requires. http://www.mediacollege.com/internet/javascript/basic/error.html You may be able to solve this issue by clearing your Internet cache.
Javascripts may also experience syntax errors when the website developed has made a mistake when writing the javascript. Website visitors typically cannot fix syntax errors because the website owner must edit the javascript. However, you can look for a way to contact the website owner to alert him or her of the issue.

Script problem in Explorer 8

What should you do about Internet Explorer script errors?

In most cases, you can ignore them. Script error messages are displayed by Internet Explorer when there is a problem with the JavaScript or VBScript code on the website you are viewing. Occasionally a script error can be caused by an error in downloading a webpage, but more often it is an error in the webpage itself.

To be sure it isn't an error in downloading, click the Refresh button, or press F5.

getcontent.aspx?assetid=6d65df30-1154-45a1-9855-1232c6b27475&documentset=en-us&prod=win700&market=usInternet Explorer refresh button

If the error persists, and you are not a developer testing a website, you should click No to ignore the error.

To avoid script errors in the future, you can turn off script debugging and notifications in Internet Explorer. Script error debugging and notifications are turned off by default. If they have been turned on, follow these steps to turn them off again.

  1. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

2. Click the Advanced tab, select the Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other) check boxes.

3. Clear the Display a notification about every script error check box, and then click OK.

2. Under Browsing History delete, Cookies, History, Temporary Internet Files, Passwords
3. open your IE and try to go to yahoo.

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

If the error comes only with a particular website then it is possible the website is not operating or has closed down.

But if the error is coming with all websites then your internet connection may be faulty. Hard to provide much more help without details of your internet connection type, the operating system on your laptop, etc.

Cannot access a site although have put in browser, to acitvate it, have been having error page 403, gone into browser but still will not allow access to stite requested.

HTTP Error 403 is an error message which means that you are not authorized to view the web page which you are attempting to load. Usually, the HTTP error 403 - Forbidden means that access to the file/folder you are trying to open has been denied, either on intention or owing to a configuration anomaly. You could attempt using a proxy website if the access is blocked intentionally.

Can't access log in pages for gmail and yahoo

Maybe you can work around this problem by using Windows Live Mail, it lets you access all of your email addresses on one page, Also when you set it up, you just have to enter the email address and it automatically sets up the rest, works pretty good.
Not sure about the website thing though.
