Question about Car Audio & Video

Wiring problem I NEED HELP!!!!

I have an XO Vision Model #GX1133
The cable that went from the display to the video player was bad when I bought it. I need some one to either replace that cable (both ends from the monitor and source) or supply me with the cable so I can fix it my self... I would rather have some one else fix it as they are extremely small wires that are double shielded and my soldering skills are limited...

Pull up the menu screen and scroll through until you come to FM transmitter. Select FM transmitter and scroll through to select a radio station(88.1, 89.1, etc). Select the station. Now, tune your vehicle stereo to said station. Enjoy.

XO Vision GX-1581 No Signal

It looks like you've narrowed it down to a settings issue. If it is saying "No Signal" while on AV2, then you need to switch to AV1 where your video signal is. A remote might be available online from XO Vision (www.xovision.com) directly or on E-bay. You might also be able to find a local dealer of XO Vision from their website. One quick fix you can try....since the monitor has 2 video inputs and is stuck on AV2, you can simply get video by unplugging the video input on AV1 and plugging it into AV2. Hope this was helpful.

Check that you have good ground connections.

Use DVM to check if you have 12VDC to player.
If you have no DVM, you can use small car light bulb with leads.
If bulb lits from ground and hot wires, then player is bad. Or most likely a loose connections.

XO-2703 WIRING

Try these guys - although they only allow installation by licensed installers, so they may not supply parts. http://xovision.com/contact.htm Wiring harnesses for this type of application will differ considerably from vehicle to vehicle depending on the location of the monitor and player and the route through which cabling has to be threaded, so they are usually constucted in situ. The connectors on these units should be standard, so any auto electric shop should be able to wire it up, but be careful not to void any warranty on the monitors. Hope this helps :)
