The SMS Service centre number settings are incorrect and need to be corrected. Check under Message Settings - Text Messages. You will need to contact your mobile service provider to get the correct Service Centre number, or get your hands on a friend's phone that uses the same network to make this a quicker fix.

Phone wont send or received texts or go into
Hi,
when a phone does not receive or send text messages, it is either caused by the message setting of the phone or the phone has contacted a VIRUS.

You will need to reset the phone or check the message settings if it as been tampered with.

Make sure you have the 'Messaging Center' number properly set. Also, you'll need to have Text Messaging enabled on your phone. Contacting your operator (network) will help.

Lg cookie wont send texts :(
Check with you're provider to be SURE they enabled texting. Also take the battery out of the phone for 30 secs then put it back in, this may solve it...
