1. Soft reset your device 2. make a backup copy of the folder \SD-MMCard\MSMETADATA if exists. 3. delete the folder \SD-MMCard\MSMETADATA. 4. Soft reset your device once again.
2nd approach (Long one!)
If 1st approach did not work, restore the MSMETADATA folder and try the following:
Step Zero: BACKUP - Make a full backup of your device (including storage cards). If you don't like to do a full backup keep at least a backup of all files and folders we are going to delete as indicated below:
Step One -In the main device directory delete the file WMPInfo.xml -Delete the \Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player\ directory and all of the files in it including the WMDRM folder. -Delete the \Music folder
Step Two -Go to your SD card main directory and delete the file WMPInfo.xml -Delete the folder \SD-MMCard\MSMETADATA -Delete the folder \SD-MMCard\WMDRM -Delete the folder \SD-MMCard\Music
Step Three -Repeat step two for any other storage cards.
Step Four -Refresh devices in WMP and the storages card should show up in the left tab and in the sync window you can click "Next Device"

No, you cannot use Windows Vista on your iPAQ. I am not 100% sure but, I have seen products made before the whole HD SD cards not being able to use them so, I would stick to the regular SD cards which go to 2GB.
Your slot in the iPAQ is a SD slot, not a SDHC slot - therefore it will not read the card. Your PC card is probably a dual reader. The SD cards look the same but are different. Have a read of this...
Hey, id be happy to help :), the reason why your SD wifi card is not getting read by your pocket pc is because. The wifi card you have is probably have was made for a regular computer and is not compatible with your pocket pc. Id recommend for you to find a SD wifi card that is compatible with your pocket pc. And return the one you have now, thanks and I hope this helps!
The only way the music can be played on a cell phone is if it is in mp3 format. you also have to list the songs individually (they cannot be separated into folders). to listen to the music you should have some sort of music player on the phone that will play the songs.
thanks for the post.
the first thing is to install the ipac software and try see if the syetm can sysnc.
when properly configured there should be an ipac icon in my computer, open this folderand other sub folders will be visible,if you have an SD card media in this device it will be visibleas well. try copy the music of your choice from the system into the music folder or your sd card depending on your pref.
did you install the following:
"iPAQ H3970/H3975 SD Card Driver Updates
version 1.1 (27 Oct 03)"
- Resolves performance issues with SD memory card.
- Resolves undetected SD memory card.
- Resolves lockups due to SD memory card.
Have you tried resetting the iPAQ? I would remove the SD card and perform a soft reset (the little hole on the bottom) then re-insert the SD card and see if it detects. Give it a try and let me know what happens.
