I tried to lock my phone and i kept doing

A PIN Unlock Code (PUC) or PIN Unlock Key (PUK) is used in GSM mobile phones and some smartcards to unblock a blocked card.
Because you tried too many times without a correct code, your SIM card is blocked and needs to be replaced. I would go to your Cell provider's store and purchase/replace yours. :)

PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a uniqueeight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PINnumber to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are thengiven 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. If an incorrect PUK code is enteredafter the 10th attempt, you will block your SIM card permanently and willrequire a new SIM card from your mobile phone provider.

Unfortunately, any wrong supply of PUK or PIN more than three times renders the SIM useless/locked. Please call up the helpline of the service provider, even if from someone else;s phone, and ask for a new SIM, for a small charge to retain the number. This is the only way out.

PUK code is called as PERSONNAL UNBLOCKING KEY.
Your phone will ask for PUK code when you entered the PIN code wrongly several times depending upon the mobile make. The mobile asks for PUK code so that unauthorized persons do not use your mobile for wrong cause.
To get PUK code please contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office. They will provide you the PUK code for your mobile. The PUK code for mobile phone.so that you can open your phone. When you planning to call your service provider you cannot use your mobile as it is fully locked. Please use some other mobile with same network to call your service provider.
While you get the PUK code ,the service provider customer care officer will ask for your personal details to check whether the mobile belongs to you only. If they are satisfied with your answers they will provide with the PUK code
DONOT enter the PUK code several times wrongly,It will block your sim card permanently.

i kept messing around wiv my pin codes an then was asking 4 my PUK code how do i get out? My phone is a samsung tocco lite S5230 please help asap

u can call att and speak to an representative and theyll giv u the PUK CODE. hope i helped

Hello Sir, It seems that you had a PIN Lock. Then after, you entered the PIN wrong 10 times and after that you have the PUK code block.To solve the PUK Code, you need to contact the service provider for the PUK Code. They can easily give you the PUK code after some nominal verifications.

you are only allowed about 3 tries. After about 3 wrong entries your phone locks up and you have to take to wireless carrier to have it unlocked.

Go & take it to the company your phone is with. Usually, the puk code is on the packet that your sim card came with. Because you kept messing with the puk code, your sim is now blocked. You may have to get a new sim card, but its best to do some web searchinq or go & take it to Vodafone (if thats the place your phone was bought from)

sign up with the vodafone website if you have not allready. this will tell you what your puk code is, try it!
