Error Code E000020-0225

Hello All,
I started of with the error code E000020-0181, I went ahead and replaced the Yellow toner as described on this site.
I then got an error code E000020-125, so I replaced all toners to be safe, this still didnt work. I then followed the below:
Depress the Additional Function key, then the 2 & 8 keys at the same time, and the additional function key again. This will display the service mode menu. Touch the Copier key. Across the top of the screen you should see " Function ". Touch it, look for CLEAR in the middle column. Touch it, then ERR, then OK. Turn off the copier and wait a few seconds then turn it back on and all should be well.

Now I receive error code E000020-0225, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Spinal,

Thank you very much for the explanation. In our company it is very possible that this copier has done 300K ++ copies.
One other question: If the E000020-0181is for Yellow and E000020-0225 is for Magenta I assume E000020-0125 would be either Blue or Black.
I think I will just get the copier dude in to fix the belt, I dont want to mess around in there too much.

    Thanks again,
    Craig

Wedm/Craig. I will glady help you, and I am extremely confident that I am correct. More importantly I wish to to help you avoid The "COPIER DUDE COMPANY" taking a large chunk of your cash. I work for a "COPIER DUDE COMPANY" and we charge $200 just to say "yep, you have a problem". So lets start from square one and please forgive me if I get long winded and redundant. You tagged onto a request for help initiated by a customer called Brassmonkey who had a code of E000020-0181.This code means that when the copier attempted to calibrate each color (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) as it does from time to time to maintain optimum copy quality, the target values for yellow could not be achieved. Not even close. Yellow is the first color the copier checks and is used as a reference for the rest of the color calibration. Therefore it tends to be the primary error code in the event of a problem. Now here is where it gets hairy. Hang with me here. A patch of color is placed on what is called a transfer belt. This belt is where the image/copy is created prior to it being transferred to the paper. In fact, there is a point in time where the color copy you requested exists on this plastic belt, held by a staic charge, and is waiting to be pushed onto the paper as it goes through the machine. So when the copier goes thru periodic calibrations, again it makes a yellow "patch"....looks at it....... reajusts....looks at it... until it hits the optimum target of quality. And it does this for every color. So, now to the NUTS of it all. You have a drum&developer "unit" for each color. One dual unit for each. They are fed toner as they need it. Any one unit can fail due to shear normal use,and this is not a function of toner.{I have seen weird shit that defies logic before but toner is on the wierd shit list} Now, at some point the "plastic transfer belt " fails. So no matter how new the drum/developer units are, the "medium" from which the colors are being judged by cannot provide a valid measurement. Its like an old guy like me trying to read small print with scratched glasses. New text does not mean I can read it better. So now you have an 000020-0225 code. This means that the magenta color calibration failed. This tends to lean toward the transfer belt(scratched glasses) being worn. Two color calobration failures make ya wonder. Canon says that under the best of conditions the tranfer belt is good for 300K. These are all remote troubleshooting suggestions but at least you will have the benefit of these details. And the transfer belt is A: not real expensive and B: not labor intensive. I hope this helps. Good luck and take care. ............SPINAL........

How do i clear f2-73 after using program 88-6 how can i revers it back to normal

Hi,
F2-73 refers to an improper yellow toner cartridge detected in your machine. The fault usually lies with the small chip installed on the rear of the toner cartridge.
The first thing to try is turning the machine off & then back on using the main switch inside the front door. The switch is located in the bottom left corner.
If that fails then you will have to replace the yellow toner cartridge.
If after replacing the cartridge, the error code re-occurs then you may have a toner motor supply problem. In my experience, replacing the relevant toner cartridge resolves the error code.
Hope this helps.
Dave.

HI, Does anyone know a clearance for a Konica Minolta Bizhub C35 with error code 0F52, thanks

Yellow Toner Sensor malfunction. Check connectors on PRCB, inspect/disassemble/reassemble/reinspect yellow toner sensor assembly, or possibly replace PRCB.

Source: service manual.
Credentials: I am having this same code right now.

My Sharp printer AR-C260M has an error sign "F2-43." It appears when I first turn on the machine and I can't use it at all.

Your machine is starved for yellow toner. Your yellow cartridge may have run out or its' countdown chip went to zero without the copier alerting you, sometimes this will happen on these models. Try replacing your yellow toner cartridge.

Konica minolta error

I had the same problem and found that one of the toner cartridges must have not been seated properly. I removed the black toner cartridge and re-fitted it. The printer now works fine again with no errors. 17H is a code relating to a fault in the rotation ......... possibly one or more toner cartridges need checking. Use the menu on the printer to turn it to the appropriate position (i.e. engine menu then select replacement of whichever toner you are checking).
Hope this fixes your as well.
