Schematic for ES450 switching power supply.

I have two of the ES450 switchers, to be modified and used in a non-computer application. Please advise availability and cost of schematics
for the units.

thanks for any help you can provide.

for IB4G2008 - the Echo Star SMPS site does not mention anything about the ES450

supply, just a mod 3000 something supply for a satellite reciever.

for COOLGUY008 - The site you referenced is about a machine controller (multimedia

    production).

Sorry, guys, I still need schematics/service manual for ECHO STAR ES450

switch mode power supply. Thanks for the effort. Keep trying, PLEASE.

Thank you, all who were involved in this search. I incorrectly assumed the tech literature was reasonably available. I am building a test bench for my own use, and need a regulated power supply. I have the parts and experience to scratch-build a well

regulated adjustable 30 amp linear supply, so will go with that. Thanks again.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Marshall MG100HDFX footswitch toggling - bypassing?

I once used uART & some latches to decode & hold the difference between "odd & even" midi program changes. Then used the output to switch a relay in a twin necked guitar to change between necks as it were in response to a midi pedal. Perhaps you could do something similar? Else get a Studiomaster MA-36 midi analyser & hack into it to use one piece of midi data (from across an LED?) to switch channels on your amp? Good Luck!

Behringer XENYX 1620FX, won't power on. Phantom power works(?)

Here is a schematic close to your unit:

http://elektrotanya.com/behringer_xenyx_1622fx.pdf/download.html

Scroll down to "get manual" and click to download. Ignore other download links.

The phantom power is a separate rectifier and regulator. See page 11 of the download service manual for the power supply. Be careful when working on line operated switching supplies. I suspect you will find one of the other supplies is dead. If the phantom is OK, then the switcher is working and one of the rectifier/filter/regulators is bad. Check if an electrolytic cap is shorted.

I have a Eurodesk 150 watt power supply that will not power up. It may have been struck by lightning. I am looking for a schematic and advice. Thanks, Tommy

You MAY find the schematic is close to one of these:

http://elektrotanya.com/behringer_sps-400_sch.pdf/download.html

or

http://elektrotanya.com/behringer_sps600_power-supply_sch.pdf/download.html

If the main switchers are shorted, then likely the driver transistors are also gone.

Fpr personal SAFETY please use an isolation transformer when working on this.

Hint: Use a 60 Watt light bulb in series with the power input to act as a fuse when unit is "restored" to protect it if not quite all of the blown parts are found, during troubleshooting.

Hello. I am a old tech, so struggle a little bit with this unit. It appears that the 12 volt power relay is not getting any signal, thus the 110 is not connected to the first set of power sections. It...

The relay shorts out two power resistors that limit the input power surge. The circuit is complex a bit. An off-line small switching power supply fires up and "heats up" the rest of the circuit for the main power switcher. I have repaired about four of these. Usually a failure due to arcing in the power amp section fries three transistors there and often a Zener diode. This then wipes out the main +/- 70 volt supply. The two IGBT's are usually blown including the four driver traansistors and the switching regulator chip and another small surface mounted transistor and one or both speedup surface mounted 1N4148's. IF THE fuse had been replaced to try again, often the two power resistors (sand coated ceramic) that ar 10 Watt either 10 or 20 ohms will be blown. Some of the hardest thing is to get the heatsinks loose with the IGBT's. When restarting the supply AFTER repair, one puts about 100 Watt lamp bulb in series with the 120 power input to act as a limiting fuse. You will NOT get far with this without a schematic. How to connect 4computers with Swith or Hub

A switch or hub isn't very complicated. The primary benefits are connecting more than 1 computer and/or increasing the range of your wired network.
On the back of your switch, all you do is plug in each computer using an ethernet cable, plug in the switch power supply, and turn it on.The only caveat being if you're using 1 PC to connect to the internet,it should probably be plugged into port #1.It probably doesn't matter, but I'm not familiar with your brand of switch.
If this helps, would you please rate my post?
Thanks

NO POWER EVERY THING CHECKS OKEY The switcher transistor was shorted also the bridge rect. A small resistor was open next to the switcher. H.O.T. okey .I replaced all of these and the tv is still dead....

switch mode power supply are very finicky check the opto coupler isolator of proper operation, also is there a non polarized capacitor at the high or hot side of the power supply, if so replace it, this can be the cause of the fault to begin with, usually around .47 mfd to 4.7, non polarized.

Good luck

I have an old e machine 500 (origional operating system was windows 98). I am replacing the ATX switching power supply , 230 wat, model lp6100a. My problem is connecting it. I know all the connectors...

The old AT power supply that these old computers uses has two six pin socket connectors and these are different to the ATX connector.
You cannot buy these power supply now, most likely you might find one/computer in a junk shop.
If you have electronic knowledge you might be able to cut off the connectors from the old power supply and connect it to the ATX power supply and modify the ATX power supply so you can switch on the power to the old computer. The old AT power supply uses a mains power switch whereas the ATX uses low voltage to turn on the power supply.
Good luck & have fun.
