Question about Pioneer DVR-1810A5PK 18x Internal Double Layer DVD & CD Writer ( Beige ) Burner
I believe the utility that Compurepair is referring to is DeCSS - and while I'm not familiar with it, it seems it will remove regional encoding from a DVD's files. You can download it here: http://www.weak.org/decss/ - the file you want is the first one listed, decss121b.zip.
I'm not familiar with how to use this utility, but if you have any problems with it just post them here - I'm sure one of our Experts can help you.

In an emergency situation. heres your solution.
any Rom drive inserted into a PC, has a set amount of user changes. Some have 3 Some have 5 or So.
This was obviously, your final change.
Leave this one set as Region 2 ( UK PAL ) Purchase another Drive Now. Set it up on the same Or Different IDE Channel.
Set This Drive To Region 1 And Do-Not Change It.
You then have 1 region 1 Drive, And 1 Region 2 Drive.
This Way, you can also transfer from region 1 to region 2 encoding, On Each Individual Drive.
Only way, if your vendor Changes are at the End.
Hope this is a Succesful Fixya For You.
Mike @ compurepair.
