Question about Whirlpool GGW3878J Dryer
My dryer is not heating up so I moved another dryer in as a spare til I fixed the LG and now this one is not heating up so I am guessing it is something with not a high enough voltage but they both worked before last Thursday. I have checked cords and circuit box and checked for any tripped breakers...Nothing what can I do?
Check the heating element. That is the part that warms the dryer up to dry ther clothes

Most likely you have a bad electrical connection, resulting in only 120 volts to dryer. (enough to run the 120 volt motor, but not enough to power the 240 volt heating elements) Turn off breaker. Make sure wires on breaker are tight. Make sure nutral wire is tight in breaker box. Take cover off dryer recepticle and check the wires in it to make sure they are all tight. Check that the connections of the cord at the dryer are tight.
