Question about Ricoh Aficio 1018 Printer
So this will sound like a stupid question at first. The display on our Aficio 1018 reads that the Toner is Almost Empty. Basic solution is to change the toner cartridge. So we did that and we are still faced with the same display message and the copies are coming out very poor.
Any suggestions on what the problem might be and how to solve it?
When you changed the toner bottle, did the cap come out with it? Sometimes the cap gets stuck in the claws that open it up. Remove the toner assembly carefully, and look at the round end with the handle, where the bottle fits in. You should see a set of claws or fingers.
