That is a logitech combo...the following url has the "drivers" you need to install in order for your macro "hotkeys" to work

Select your Operating System (OS) and install the drivers, then reboot your system. You should be able to use your keyboard once that is done..

Here is the URL

As I remember it, the EX 100 was plug and play on my XP PC. The batteries are NOT a problem - as they check OK. I periodically have both mouse and keyboard FREEZE After restarting XP computer everything...

Connect an additional wired keyboard to your pc. And when the freeze happens check if the pc responds at all, using the wired keyboard. If its not responding , its an indication of a faulty PSU or motherboard.

Have cordless keyboard EX-100. Keys will not respond. The calculator and mute keys works all other do not. Have fresh batteries and reset connection button many times. My cordless mouse is okay.

You either need to push fn button (upper left on keyboard) or you need to check that the logitech keyboard software (itouch and a few other names i can;t recal) is running or installed. On mine if the software has glitched out, a quick reload of it and it works fine. This software is what is telling your computer what the special keys mean. If this isn;t running it will only be able to understand the standard type of key signals.

Certain keys on my laptops keyboard wont register

Yep, I know this problem. Mine is similar, with a Dell. And on the Dell it appears to be caused by the cable from the keyboard to the laptop gets pinched. Gripping the laptop wrong causes the problem, and gripping it another way makes them work again. I fixed the problem and it stayed fixed for quite a while earlier - by opening it up, taking out the keyboard, then putting it back in. Back then the keyboard hardly worked at all, until I did that. I had instructions for doing this, and you'll need specific instructions if you are to do this. I found a set of instructions for something else that includes accessing the keyboard:

Logitech ex 100 mouse doesn't work

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse (ex 100) won't connect

The mouse and keyborard have to be in direct view of the reciever. Even a small obstruction will effect the operation

Function keys

Have you installed the software which follows with the keyboard? The function keys are usually activated via a software which often follows with the keyboard, probably on the driver CD.
