Dirt Devil M084600 Dynamite

I have only had my dirt devil for 2 months. I was sweeping my rugs. It was working perfectly. Then I turned the sweeper off for 2 minutes. Went back to finish sweeping and the sweeper wouldn't work. I emptied the dirt container and cleaned the filter. It still won't work.

Dirt Devil vacuum 6 months old and had no sucking power for cleaning. Nothing was plugged, took filter out to test, worked fine. Bought new filter, works like new! How do you clean old filter, only six minths old! I'll use as spare. Already tried running clean water through it from faucet.

If it is only 2 months old, then it is under warranty, take it in for warranty repair. There may be a circuit breaker on it, usually on the back at the bottom, it there is, push it to see if it has tripped.

How do I keep the rear wheels from coming off my dynamite upright dirt devil

Plastic to plastic wears fast. I have repaired this problem by inserting small wooden dowels between the splits in the axles.( I have one of these machines in my home) Lubricate the axles with a non-petroleum grease afterward. I use Superlube available in most auto parts stores.

My vacuum is not sucking up that good and none of the dirt is revolving in the clear part of the vacuum like it normally does

The normal air flow has decreased considerably. Look for a clog inside the sweeper head and for a plugged HEPA filter (remove it to test) on the outlet. Hope this helps!

Dynamite Dirt Devil Hose

I figured out how last night.
Take a screw driver and unscrew the screw on the top of hose and take the hose out and take a pen or something long enough with grip to get all of the junk out.

The circulation still isn't as strong though.

Did you check the brush roll, if the ends aren't turning freely, then it needs to be replaced also.

Your roller won't turn. The belt is designed to break if anything threatens to keep the motor from turning. When you have the roller out, check the end caps to see if they rotate easily. If they do, then install a new belt being very careful that the belt is not pinched on the channel that it sits in. Once you have the belt installed, turn the roller by hand to make sure that there is no jamming or catching of anything. Install the plate and check the rotation again. Once you are satisfied that the roller turns easily, try the machine.
If the caps on the roller are jammed, as they will get from debris, hair and thread, etc., then you may have to replace the roller. The end caps on most of the Dirt Devils are carbon fibre and will break when you try to remove them.
