Question about EliteGroup P4VMM2 Motherboard
Ecs p4vmm2, via chipset, 686 amibios Bios.........now, my problem is when u turn on it runs but wont display and u will only hear the error beeps( 8short successive beeps).. VIDEOCARD is GOOD, i have tried to used it in other computer and it is working properly...
I already done clear cmos then transfer the monitors cable into the vga port but stil the error beep is there and the monitor will display "frequenzy out of range....try other resolution""
is any one out there with a good and friendly hart can help me answer my QUESTIONS???
1. what is the cause of the problem?
2. what is my solution for this problem?

Display memory read/write error
The system video adapter is missing or defective
1 if it is an AGP card could be the slot for it is defective
2 Disable the onboard video chip in the bios try it again
3 If you have an old PCI videocard try that
4 if ou have 2 slots of ram chips try without one in then take it out and try the other
