Sleep/wake button jammed

Hi, i recently dropped my new iphone in such a way that it landed right on my sleep/wake button on the top right of my iphone. due to this, it is now jammed, and it won't allow me to turn on my iphone. the iphone is still fully working as it turns on automatically whilst connected to my pc or to the charger.
This is a company mobile, which is why i can't get a replacement, is there anything i could do myself to get it fixed?

My iPhone fell off the arm of my sofa (short fall) and now the Sleep/Wake button is jammed down and my iPhone keeps flashing the apple screen then it shuts off and cycles the same thing over and over until the battery is dead.  I purchased the original one right after it came out (at the super high price).  Think the piece of **** should be built better.  If Nintendo can make a Gameboy that can fall from a few feet, you think Apple could do the same with an expensive phone.

Not under warranty and long=no replacement.

i have the same problem but i dont recall dropping my iphone at all. now i cant even use my iphone because the only way to fix it when the apple logo flashes is to plug it into a power source. but im at school all day and cant do that. so ive been using my piece of **** RAZR. not cool.

Well that is a common problem you may come to the Apple store nearest you and they will swap you iPhone.
Please note:Sync your iPhone with your Mac or PC to have a backup file when you get your new iPhone so you can have your latest contacts on your computer.

This happened to me...the solution is that if you go to your settings and change your "auto-lock" to never...then the phone never goes to sleep mode and it works fine, but this causes the battery to run down so keep that in mind and keep the phone on the charger when possible

My iphone 3gs shut off and won't turn on... tried rebooting it but saw nothing. How long should I hold the "Home" button and the "Power" button?? If this doesn't work, what should I do??Please help...

If something isn't working right, restarting, force quitting an application, or resetting
iPhone will likely solve the problem.
Restart iPhone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and
hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
If you can't turn off iPhone or if the problem continues, you may need to reset. A reset
should be done only if turning iPhone off and on doesn't resolve the problem.
Force quit an application: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone
for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then press and hold the Home button
until the application quits.
Reset iPhone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the
same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
