There is no button on the monitor that sets this that I can find.
it is likely you changed the rotate settings for the video somehow.
If you have an ATI video card.
you should see an icon for ATI on the tool bar by the time and date .
right click on it and choose catalyst control center. in there you will find the rotate desktop.
if you don't see the icon then you can find it under start/programs/catalyst control center

How do I get trivia crack to show vertical on my screen not horizontal.

If you hold your phone upright while taking a video, you've surely seen the horrific end results. When you try to play the video back on any other display, roughly 70 percent of the screen is occupied by black bars.

I normally scold people for this behavior, as it makes for terrible viewing. But, in a more proactive approach, the makers of crappy-vertical-videos-app-auto-levels-your-iphone-vids-horizontally-0150499/">a popular iOS app have brought their wares to Android in hopes of finally finding a cure for Vertical Video Syndrome.

Horizon is a video-recording app with a twist-quite literally. Using your phone's sensors, the app ensures that you're always filming in landscape mode regardless of how you hold your phone. With your camera's viewfinder locked onto the horizon, you can turn your phone every which way and the video will remain level.

My Toshiba M55 Laptop has a vertical 'ribbon' of flickering. Is it fixable?

Maybe your screen is going bad or the video card inside the computer is going bad. Try connecting another monitor to the computer to isolate the problem. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed monitor displays ok without the vertical ribbon then your lcd screen is bad and your video card is good. If the Borrowed monitor displays the same vertical ribbon as your lcd screen then your video card inside the computer has an issue.

The video will show on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

Screen went horizonal from vertical

To get back the original, try this
Use the following Key combination : Ctrl Alt UpArrow

If this does not work, then see if you can minimize all applications and see the desktop. Then right click anywhere on the desktop and select "Graphic Options" and then "Graphic Properties". A window will open and click on "Rotation" tab and then select "Normal". Now click on "Apply" Your screen will return to normal.

Monitor is vertical display instead of horizontal display

the keys ctrl+alt+right arrow should do the trick for you. if not then right click on the keyboard and select properties for options and you will find your graphics software has its own rotational software. good luck with two year old, sounds like you'll need it.

LIGHT BLUE VERTICAL LINE ON MONITOR

The vertical line is a bad pixel sensor at the edge of the screen, your screen has hundreds of vertical and horizonal pixel sensors. This is an indicator that the screen is going out and need replacing.

Horizontal display

Check with the manufacturer information that you have the refresh rates and maximum resolution set correctly. If in doubt, go to your display properties and try something basic to test if this is the problem. A basic setting may be as low as 1024x768 at 60 Hz.

(You can access your display settings by right-click the desktop anywhere and choose properties, then settings).

Leave the monitor at that setting for a while to see if the monitor changes the picture.

If the picture changes, it may be component failure in the monitor. If not, the problem is then related to the settings from your VGA card are too high or dense causing the monitor to fail after a time. Try something higher like 1280x1024 @ 60Hz and keep going till the picture fails. Compare the best functioning resolution with the manufacturer claims about the product in the product documentation.

Be sure there are no cable bunches and the power cables are not wrapped up with the VGA cable under the desk or there are not too many cables lying about, although unlikely, this has been known to distort the picture.

Let us know if this helps.

Cheers
